Loann, aus deren Sicht das Buch geschrieben ist, ist in ihrer Highschool unbeliebt, unauffällig und fühlt sich einfach nicht besonders wohl in ihrem Haut. Das genaue Gegenteil ist ihre Schwester Claire, die alle mögen und die sogar mit Loann's Schwarm zusammen ist. Sie leider aber an einer Essstörung, was zunächst keiner merkt. So entsteht eine Geschichte, die zwar auch von Geschwisterrivalität und Eifersucht handelt, aber auf keine Fall "platt" ist. Die Beziehung der beiden ist sehr facettenreich und im Grunde genommen sehr liebevoll ist. Allerdings hat die immer schlimmer werdende Krankheit Claire's einen großen Einfluss auf das ganze Familienleben.Die Geschichte ist ziemlich ergreifend und mal was anderes. Ein wirklich gutes Buch für Leute, die sich für eine solche Thematik interessieren!
